What is your career plan?

My career plan is to serve with dignity, integrity and clarity.


Having a career plan centered around serving with dignity, integrity and clarity is commendable, should one maintain and live up to those characteristics. These also reflects, very strong moral compass. It shows one’s commitment to making a positive impact and maintaining a high standard of ethics in your professional life. Elaborating further on my career plan, while reflecting on the following aspects:

  1. Values and Principles are the core that guide my actions and decisions. Other characteristics include honesty, respect, fairness, accountability, and transparency. These values form the foundation of my professional conduct and interactions as the human being I developed into being.
  2. Professional Development: Aid in outlining a plan for my continuous learning and growth in my chosen field. This also involve acquiring new skills, pursuing relevant certifications or degrees, attending conferences or workshops, and staying updated with industry trends. By investing in my professional development, and personal growth I can enhance my expertise and be better equipped to serve with excellence.
  3. Ethical Decision-Making: I developed a framework for ethical decision-making and taught myself to make healthy decisions throughout my life. Considering the potential challenges I may face in my career, over the years I have learned to use pivoting as way to establish a process to ensure that my choices are align with my values. This may involve evaluating the consequences of my own actions, seeking diverse perspectives, and consulting with mentors or trusted colleagues.
  4. Building Relationships: I recognize the importance of building strong relationships based on trust, respect, and empathy. As well as, cultivating professional networks and seeking out opportunities to collaborate and support others. Engaging in meaningful relationships not only enriches my career but also allows me to positively influence others and contribute to their success.
  5. Leadership and Mentorship: As I progress in my career, my aim is to become a leader who inspires and uplifts others. Lead by example, demonstrating integrity, fairness, and inclusivity. Offer guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues, sharing my knowledge and experiences to help them grow professionally and ethically.
  6. Giving Back to Society: I always consider how I can extend my dedication to serving with dignity and integrity beyond my immediate professional sphere. I take time to explore opportunities for volunteer work, community involvement, or contributing to social causes that align with my values. Giving back does provide a sense of fulfillment and contribute to a better society.
